About Our Auction

About Our Auto Auctions

In business for over 7 years, our woman-owned business has NAA-certified auctioneers with more than 25 years of experience.  They provide you with buyer-friendly bidding. J & M Auction's auctioneers are also bilingual and don't try to intimidate the public. We have between 100 & 200 cars every 2 weeks and no cars are sold before the auction. Donated cars start for an affordable $100. To help you purchase your vehicle, we will work with bank drafts and loans.

Quality Cars at Auction Price

Before every auto auction, our auctioneers will announce the condition of the vehicle. If it turns out there is more wrong with the car than we were aware of, you can return the car within 3 days. We allow you to check cars and turn them on with keys prior to the auction; Friday is preview day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you win one of our vehicles, the title will be delivered within 30 days and emission-tested cars may receive a permit for 60 days. Any off-site auctions will be announced separately throughout the year.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR PREVIEW DAY!  Every Friday 9am-4pm before the sale

Every Friday before an auction, we hold an open preview of what is on the lot for the next days sale. Becuase we are unable to let you take cards for test drives, this is a great oppertunity to check out and start up the vehicles.    Since we are unable to let you drive the vehicles, we will post whatever mechanical pproblems that we are aware of on the car in both English and Spanish.  Preview day also allows youplenty of time to find the vehicles that interest you, and ask any questions that you might have. This will make bidding and the whole auction experience easier for you. We want you to feel 100% satisfied with your experiance at J & M Auction!

What Makes You Bi-Monthly Auction So Different?

J & M Auction is a car buying experience like no outher dealership, internet site, or newspaper ad! We work with a number of banks and credit unions, as well as charitys.  Cars are brought to us by these banks and credit unions becasue they have been repossesed.  These cars have a minimum amount (a low bid) that is set by the bank or credit union.  If the bid does not meet the the minimum, it will be sold on a call.  Some cars the have been donated to help benefit a charity have no low and sell to the highest bidder, but occasionally there are reserves.

What If I Make A Bid On A Car And I am Told That It Is On Call?

When a car is sold on a call, we will call the owner of the vehicle to let them know what the final bid on the car was.  They can either accept, deny,  or make a counter offer .If accepted,  then the bidder who made the offer will be notified that there bid was accepted.  If the offer is countered by the seller,  then the bidder will be notified of the counter offer and has the choice to either accept or deny the new offer.
